Although our staff is World-renowned for training Olympic & Professional beach volleyball players, our academy welcomes players of all ages and skill levels to work on improving their game. You must be physically capable and you must be excited to improve.
Beach Elite training is perfect for players who are new to sand volleyball but have indoor experience. The sand teaches all of the skills (setting, passing, hitting, blocking, defense, and serving) creating more well-rounded volleyball players.
Additionally, studies have found sand training reduces the likelihood of injury by building stabilizer muscles around ankles and lowering impact while getting reps.
For classes, please come prepared in workout clothes or beach attire (swimsuits built for athletics are allowed). If possible, bring a water bottle and a towel. For day classes, sunglasses designed for impact sports are recommended (no glass glasses).
For camps, players should also bring snacks and a change of clothes for after swimming or other activities
While drop-ins are welcome, we recommend signing up for classes in advance to secure your spot, especially for popular classes. Our registration is a simple tap in our app or a message to our coach.
Beach Elite Academy is not a club. Given our coaches travel the World, we cannot commit to a single city for multiple years. That said, our coaches work to impart what they have learned over decades of coaching the top pros in terms of skills, mental acuity, nutrition, strength, and more.
Additionally, Beach Elite Academy is purpose-built to create "elite" athletes, NOT to create a pipeline on which to build a business. We have found this mentality leads us to being athlete-first in regards to recruiting, recommendations, feedback, and more.
Yes, we offer drop-in classes for all students. It's a great way to experience our studio before deciding on a membership or longer commitment.
